Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. has announced that 12 of its e-STUDIO color MFPs have achieved Cerner certification.
By passing Cerner's Technology Certification Lab (TCL) testing criteria, Toshiba's e-STUDIO2550C series, e-STUDIO2551C series, e-STUDIO5055C series and e-STUDIO407CS series are now certified for use within Cerner's more than 1,500 health-care clients worldwide.
As a result of meeting these technical requirements, the printing devices are currently on Cerner's preferred "Certified Peripheral List," which is available to all of the company's health-care clients to ensure that these products are operable with Cerner's software. As a result, Toshiba's 12 latest MFPs are now authorized for use within Cerner's Millennium application environments. Cerner solutions enable physicians, nurses and other authorized users to share data and streamline processes across an entire organization.
There are now 48 Toshiba MFPs approved for use within Cerner Millennium application environments.
"We are pleased be able to meet the stringent technical requirements to have many of our e-STUDIO products become Cerner certified," said Bill Melo, vice president of marketing, services and solutions, Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. "By securing this certification, we are looking forward to enhancing the printing efficiencies within a vast array of Cerner health-care clients throughout the world while committed to becoming a preeminent multifunction product provider within the health-care sector."
